Foam Hydrant

The Foam Hydrant features a galvanized pipe valve body, 4″/6″ sizes, brass outlet valves, and spray-painted surfaces with STORZ/NH connectors. Ideal for petrochemical and underground sites, it uses ≥0.6MPa water pressure to draw 3% foam liquid, offers AFFF efficiency, corrosion resistance, and 0.5-0.8MPa working pressure.

Working principle

1. Mixing stage: Pressurized water (≥0.6MPa) flows through the proportioning mixer at high speed to form a negative pressure zone, sucking in the foam liquid and mixing it with water at a ratio of 3%.
2. Spraying stage: The mixed liquid is transported to the foam gun/cannon through a hose, and after foaming, it covers the surface of the burning object, forming a water film to isolate oxygen, and achieve double fire extinguishing (foam covering + suffocation effect).

Features

1. High-efficiency fire extinguishing: The fire extinguishing effect of aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) is 2~3 times that of protein foam, and the storage life is up to 12 years.
2. Corrosion-resistant design: The key components are made of stainless steel ball valve + highly corrosion-resistant materials, and the lubrication chamber is designed to prevent rust and die, ensuring long-term maintenance-free.
3. Sealing optimization: The valve plate is self-sealed with the help of medium pressure (the higher the pressure, the stronger the seal), eliminating leakage.
4. Dual-mode compatibility: Supports single-gun fire extinguishing or dual-port connection mobile foam cannon, and flexibly responds to the scale of the fire.
