Addressable/Conventional Beam Detector

Working Principle

The detector consists of an infrared transmitter, infrared receiver, CPU, and corresponding amplification and processing circuits. Under normal operating conditions, when there is no smoke, the infrared light emitted by the infrared transmitter reaches the receiver. In the event of a fire, smoke obstructs the infrared beam, reducing the amount of infrared light reaching the receiver. When the received signal meets the set threshold, the detector issues an alarm signal.
