The mechanical pump-in proportioning device is the latest generation of foaming equipment. It consists of only three basic components: a turbine, a coupling, and a foam pump. It offers advantages such as a simple and compact structure, high system energy efficiency, high reliability, and the ability to add foam liquid at any time. By properly setting the turbine parameters and selecting the right foam pump, the foam mixing ratio can be maintained constant regardless of changes in the fire water flow rate. The turbine output speed is proportional to the flow rate through the turbine, and the foam pump output flow rate is also proportional to the foam pump speed. Because the turbine and foam pump are connected by a coupling, ensuring they rotate at the same speed, the ratio of foam liquid flow rate to fire water flow rate can be maintained constant.
