Consequently, the gas pressure in the upper chamber is no longer sufficient to hold the clapper closed; the water pressure in the lower chamber forces the clapper open, thereby activating the alarm valve.<br \/>\n3.Water from the lower chamber flows through the alarm piping to the water motor alarm and the pressure switch. The water motor alarm emits an audible signal, while the pressure switch sends an electrical signal to start the fire water pump; simultaneously, the system&#8217;s rapid exhaust valve opens to quickly vent the air from the piping.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Installation and Commissioning Instructions<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>1.The dry alarm valve must be installed vertically on the system piping network, leaving a clearance of approximately 0.5m around it to facilitate installation and maintenance.<br \/>\n2.Before installation, the water supply piping network must be thoroughly flushed to ensure it is free of debris and foreign matter, and that the water quality is clean.<br \/>\n3.To facilitate maintenance and commissioning, fire-rated signal butterfly valves should be installed at the inlet and outlet of the dry alarm valve.<br \/>\n4.Inspect the valve chamber for foreign matter or residue; if any is found, clean it out and wash the valve chamber, valve clack, and both inner and outer valve seats with water.<br \/>\n5.Install the dry alarm valve correctly onto the piping network according to the installation diagram, and sequentially install the hydraulic alarm bell, pressure switch, and air-filling piping.<br \/>\n6.Connect the air source and verify that all components are installed correctly and completely.<br \/>\n7.After confirming the system is correctly installed, push the reset handle into the valve to ensure the valve clack is in the closed position.<br \/>\n8.Open the priming water ball valve and pour water into the priming funnel until it is full (a small amount of water may drip from the drip valve during filling); open the test ball valve to drain excess water, then close both the priming water ball valve and the test ball valve.<br \/>\n9.Pull up the knob on top of the pressure regulating valve and turn it counter-clockwise to loosen it.<br \/>\n10.Start the air compressor and adjust its output air pressure (the output pressure must be 0.1\u20130.2 MPa higher than the system air pressure).<br \/>\n11.Slowly turn the knob on top of the pressure regulating valve clockwise to adjust the air pressure to the minimum value corresponding
